On yer bike

Having recently bought myself a brand spanking new Specialized mountain bike, it seems as though the Origin cycling bug has collected yet another victim.

I’m not sure I’m up to the challenge of the black runs at Llandegla just yet, but one thing I am sure of is that I’ve turned into a proper bike perv; and even though I’ve got a mountain bike, it’s the road bikes that really catch my eye. This becomes a bit of a problem when you’re wandering around with a dodgy MOvember ’tache checking out bikes being ridden by lycra-clad men!

One Punch Can Kill

One Punch Can Kill is a campaign run by Merseyside Police aimed at shifting attitudes to alcohol related violence. In the last 5 years, 24 people have lost their lives in Merseyside through senseless violence – 7 were the victims of ‘one punch’ and most of these were alcohol fuelled.
